Semi Annual Meeting
Recap

Meeting Date: Saturday, April 12, 2008
Maria briefly reviewed the Results to the Membership Survey
requested by the Board at the September 2007 meeting, and
told the Members a copy would be posted for their review in
the near future.

**This survey consisted of Members suggestions and ideas for
2008 Improvement’s and projects for Lake Marie and Hidden
Valley.
Maria stated that the swing set will be installed soon,
however, she stated that a new location is being
discussed for the playground due to the vandalism
that has been done to the wooden Jeep that was set
up at the Maintenance shed grounds last summer.

Members made suggestions to put the playground on
the Lake Marie office grounds where the pool once
was, or to put it down
by the Marina.
Richard Sibbit stated that 275 tons of rock has already been
applied to Lake Marie roads this year, with a proposed addition
of 230 more tons coming by the end of the season, (providing
the County approves the full 500 tons at County pricing for Lake
Marie).

It is estimated that it could cost up to $20,000.00 for rock this
year, due to the cost of fuel and the fact that Lake Marie has not
been fully rocked for a couple of years.
Culverts:   The Board is asking all members to clean
their driveway culverts in the spring and fall to allow
water to flow away from the roads to avoid washout.  A
road committee has been formed to evaluate where
additional ditch work needs to be done.
Lake Marie Logo Shirts are available
